Ilche Nonevski

Biography

Dr. Ilche Nonevski joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates in 2008 after completing his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Nonevski received his combined medical and business degrees at the University of Cincinnati, followed by his residency in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland. As a fellow, Dr. Nonevski conducted research on the causes of eosinophilic esophagitis. His current interests include esophageal diseases and gastrointestinal motility, colon cancer prevention, and caring for patients with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

Dr. Nonevski served as Chief Financial Officer of Rockford Gastroenterology Associates for 7 years, leading several initiatives to deliver the highest quality care to our community. He holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Rockford. In 2012, Dr. Nonevski was awarded the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching and was honored to be selected Commencement Speaker by the medical student body in 2015.
