Dr. Jason Schairer is the director of the Henry Ford Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center. His clinical interests include interventional IBD and addressing health disparities. As the previous associate program director of the Henry Ford Gastroenterology and Hepatology Program, he prioritizes education and is eager to improve our collective treatment of people living with IBD. Dr. Schairer completed medical school and his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Southfield, Michigan. He is board certified in gastroenterology.
