Biography
Dr. Vicari joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates, Ltd. in 1997 and is now Managing Partner. He also is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. Dr. Vicari completed his GI Fellowship in gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He previously served as the Chair of the Practice Operations Committee of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and journal reviewer for the American Journal of Gastroenterology. Dr. Vicari has presented numerous lectures and presentations to students, and residents and physicians both locally and nationally. He currently serves on the ASGE Governing Board as Councilor and co-Chair of the ASGE Value of Colonoscopy Taskforce.
