Dr. Norio Fukami is Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona, USA and Director of Therapeutic Endoscopy, Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship and Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Fellowship. He has authored many peer-reviewed papers, editorials, invited articles and book chapters on therapeutic endoscopy, including EUS, ERCP and luminal interventions. Dr. Fukami was an editor for the first English textbook on ESD. He had an honor at the state capital of Colorado to receive recognition for the excellence in cancer care with advanced endoscopic treatment in 2010 and received a Master of Endoscopy Award from ASGE in 2018.
