Dr. Vinay Chandrasekhara, Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in
Rochester, MN and specializes in gastroenterology with advanced training in complex endoscopic procedures. He is currently the director of the pancreas interest group.
Areas of clinical expertise include:
- Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Endoscopic resection of large/complex gastrointestinal polyps
Dr. Chandrasekhara is active in clinical research for device development and for diagnosis and management of pancreaticobiliary conditions. He currently serves at the editor for Techniques and Innovations in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and has authored numerous guidelines on endoscopic procedures. He is passionate about education and is the program director for the advanced endoscopy fellowship.
