Video and Photography
Photography and Video Waiver
ASGE takes photographs and video during its courses and reproduces them in educational, news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the ASGE website. By participating in this program, you grant ASGE the right to use your name, photograph, and biography for such purposes. All postings become the property of ASGE. Postings may be displayed, distributed, or used by ASGE for any purpose.
Photography and Video Policy
Photography at ASGE programs is as a general rule permitted for personal, social, or noncommercial use. However, presenters have the right to request that photographs not be taken, and photography is prohibited in those instances. Attendees taking photos must do so in a nondisruptive manner, so as not to disturb the presenter and other attendees. Flash photography is not permitted at ASGE events. Video recording, live audio, video streaming, and recording for commercial use is prohibited at ASGE events. Photography and video recording is not permitted in the simulation lab. Failure to comply with these policies will result in an attendee’s removal from an ASGE program without having their registration refunded.
