Technology Showcase

Gain Visibility with Gastroenterologists

ASGE invites you to participate in the inaugural Technology Showcase as part of the unique FIESTA program to get your innovation and product in front of general and advanced gastroenterologists, particularly, endoscopists.

Participants will present their innovative technology in two sessions.

Session One

During the initial didactic presentation in the auditorium, we ask you to prepare a 10-minute PowerPoint. Please include the following in your presentation:

Identify the clinical problem the technology is addressing

Current techniques for addressing the clinical challenge and why they are deficient

How you came up with the invention. We are particularly interested in discussing the process of innovation

Process of prototyping and testing

Current status of the technology

Lab testing and human trials, if any

Regulatory (FDA) and reimbursement challenges; pathway to clinical practice


Your presentation will be followed by a 5-minute question and discussion with moderators and audience.

Session Two

The second session will follow the didactic session and will consist of a hands-on demonstration of your technology in the Bioskills Lab. Please let us know your requirements in terms of setting up a booth/ endoscopy set-up where you will be able to demonstrate your technology.

Attendees will rotate through the technologies that are being presented and will ask you questions regarding your invention

Attending thought leaders will evaluate your invention and ask questions and provide feedback
